A Couple of Fakes

Two recent brushes that I made.

Left - Faux Ivory with (real) Rosewood. Shave Forge 24mm horse hair (my first).
Right - Faux horn from TGN with a 26mm G5C knot form AP Shave Co.

I'm not loving the horse hair. Although it feels good on the face, there isn't enough backbone. I've only used it a couple of times, but have yet to get the water amount right. I just finished the G5C and haven't used it yet.

I agree with you on the horse hair. It feels to me more like a mop, than a brush.
