Thoughts I'd post a pic of my current equipment 8 years into my journey into traditional shaving. Maybe it'll give some inspiration. I don't visit or post much now as things have settled down now after falling into DE shaving in the search for a way to stop razor burn and ingrown hairs. That led to straights and the rest is history.

Left to right:

Travel & backups - Mappin & Webb Wedge, 1961 Fatboy, circa late 19th century hallmarked silver travel set (re-set the badger knot myself).

Ah...thought someone might ask. Don't have photos, but soap wise I generally favor Tabac, but will try something different every now and then. I have a set of Naniwa Synthetics (1,000 up 12,000) plus a Jnat finishing stone and Strop from Keith over at Tomonagura. The one thing I may add is a full set of Japanese stones.

Those are all solid options. I admire your ability to keep it simple. Has your collection always been this streamlined or have you paired it back over the years?

Four years in and I have two dens. The city den has a bookshelf full of stuff. The country den is minimalist and looks more like yours. City life can be fun but I do enjoy the simplicity of the country.
