Just acquired and it shaves superbly. Anyone have an idea of its age ? I know Brittian, Wilkinson and Brownell were in business from 1780 to 1840. I have not seen many early 1800's with large blades so I think that this may have been made towards the end of the business. I have fourteen straights that I shave with and this really is the best.
