8/8 Henckles

This razor made it in to my personal collection and I just wanted to share. Im excited to shave with it, which will be in a few minutes.

The shave was fantastic!! One of the best shavers, Ive tried in a while. I used my stubby finest and irisch moos.

Too bad SWMBO made me hurry so it was only a 5 min speed shave. We were "late" for dinner.

Nice one and also rare to get in this size for an elder one.

Seems to be an older Zwilling from the 1940/1950 from carbon steel and not the newer Friodur one.

UbuRoy, thank you for your insight on the date. I was actually wondering about that. As soon as I saw this blade I knew I had to have it. By some luck I am proud that I did get it. Ive never seen a henckles this large before in a carbon steel. I also have its original box which is in really great shape.

How on earth, with that razor in the cupboard, did you manage to get more than 48 hours without breaking out that bad boy?
