. Oumo 26 mm knot with 53 mm loft height. This one is glued in, can't wait to test it during the weekend. Not sure about the wood, it was gifted to me, but I would guess on cherry based on its bark.

Update after first usage:
This is my first horsehair shaving brus experience. And for the first time, I shaved with a self-made brush. It was a great experience
. . While soaking, he sucked the water like a thirsty desert camel. Cell soap foams very nicely, better than any of my brushes so far (well, the Semogue pig is a serious competitor in foaming). For stiffness, I would say it is between a badger and a pig. It has a kind of softness, but the softness I experienced with a synth. It weighs, especially when it sucks up his water I like heft when shaving, this is hefty. Further testing continues.
