4Noggins order time again. last tine suggestions?

OK, I think this is my order this time round:

• McClelland FM Cellar
• MacBarren Plum Cake
• Just for Him Shortcut To Mushrooms
• McClelland 3 Oaks Syrian

I want to order 1, maybe 2 more tins. I can't do straight (or mostly) VA's, they taste like cigarettes to me. I love the Latakia (as you can tell) but am open to other things as I'm so new at this, so any suggestions much appreciated.

I would recommend the John Patton's Storm Front (bulk) not a Latakia blend but is a really good smoke, if you get go small just to try it, if you no likie I will take it off your hands.

If you are a Latakia fan and haven't tried it, I would second Squadron Leader. If you like lighter English blends, try Skiff Mixture - great stuff.

I get the cigarette connection - it was quite a while before I "got" VA blends. Love them now. Your tastes change with time. Have you tried VAPers? Probably my favorite type on many days.

I've been enjoying an aro or two of late as well. Drew Estate's Harvest on Hudson is good stuff, and I'm a bit crazy about Peterson's Nutty Cut.

On the other hand, I've also been burning a fair amount of SWR lately. It's just.....good.

Oh who cares, I'll get both!

The real issue is weight and customs. We're legally allowed to import, that's not the problem, but if my package gets "pinged" by the customs crew, that little load will cost me $175 in duties plus postage and other fees. I'd be guessing another $200 on top of the order. Youch. It's a game of Russian Roulette living in Aus believe me. Wish me luck.

If you haven't placed your order yet, McClelland's CPCC Samovar is another great Syrian Latakia. I've seen it described as the "older brother" to 3 Oaks Syrian and having just tried it after finishing a tin of 3OS definitely agree.
