Actually that's it after a couple cycles in my ultrasonic cleaner with a dish soap and water solution then a good polishing.
I always find myself too excited to get any new razor I get cleaned up that I forget to take before pictures when they're still cruddy.

Funny, I do the same thing. I also forget to get a shot of a razor when I find it in an antique store. My first Fat Boy was barely visible in the terribly disorganized and dirty display case when I noticed its TTO knob peeking out from underneath a pile a things. That would have been a great image.
