I took Friday off and spent 3 days hanging around the house this weekend and caught up on a few chores that needed to be done. Just bumming around. I didn't shaved for 3 days and got up this morning with a 3 day beard. I have a normal to heavy beard and usually shave everyday, rain or shine.
As I was taking my shower I was in somewhat of a quandary over how to shave. With a full complement of AD's I have plenty of choice's in razors, blades, soaps, creams, etc.. Then, in what could only be described as a teenage flashback, I had a Schlitz moment and decided to "Go for the Gusto". Loaded a fresh feather into my new Slant, built a great leather with Proraso (hot summer day) and with only two passes had a BBS shave. With hunting season coming I now know what my shave gear will be with a week or more beard in place.
Does anyone else have a specific combination, or technique, they like to use when they haven't shaved in 3 or more days? I have at least one 10 day hunt already scheduled this season.
