Thanks! I certainly have neglected items. I am learning as I go along. I need to make a list! Still in by the way.Still in. No temptations. @Guido75 , I understand the boredom and need for change, but I am pretty sure all of us here can find forgotten or neglected items and use them.
I am currently doing Arko August, but can't wait to get back to 3017ing my tallow Tabac.
Have you found anything to be a better performer than Tallow Tabac?Still in. No temptations. @Guido75 , I understand the boredom and need for change, but I am pretty sure all of us here can find forgotten or neglected items and use them.

For me Tabarko. Used it for my head shave this afternoon. Instant luscious lather with great scent.Have you found anything to be a better performer than Tallow Tabac?
I 3017'd a tub last year and it instantly became a favorite.
What news about rr king Lewis soap base? Are we still doing this?
No temptations, not even finding out about the RR King Louis soap base being similar to another soap. I'll get some in Jan.
Back to cooking fajitas. Thighs are almost done. Corn "off the cob", peppers and onions are ready. Time to assemble with some cheese and garden jalapeno.

Someone mentioned it in the 3017 thread. Similar to Dovo/Merkur Lavender. What news about rr king Lewis soap base?
There's a few top tier soaps for me, tallow Tabac is certainly one. The Fat, Mike's Natural Soaps, and even veggie Tabac I like (first veg formula, that is). Palmolive Lather also.Have you found anything to be a better performer than Tallow Tabac?

Cool to know it can actually help even when you’re not in the challenge.I'm not a participant this year, but good luck to everyone still in. My last message in this thread was that I was sitting this one out after having completed the last 3 sabbaticals. Well, after giving myself this year to splurge, I am ready to admit that I have only bought 1 soap (Van Der Hagen Luxury), 1 aftershave (Old Spice), and an Avon pickup truck aftershave bottle. The sabbatical really helped me to stop chasing products. Thanks for all your support!
Guido, congratulantions on your 20th, I wish you and your wife a very happy anniversary and many more. Thank you for acting as our fearless leader in this endeavor, it is much appreciated. Not sure you should go out on this; I see it as your wife getting you a present. Your call, of course.Gents, fellow MacGyvers,
This is your *cough* fearless *cough* leader and I am about to transition to a MacGruber as I am knocked out of restraint.
Next week my lady and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and on these types of occasions we like to give each other gifts. Something tangible to remember the occasion and something that is befitting for the event at hand.
I am getting a Supply 2.0 (has a 20 ring to it). I use injectors solely for head shaves.
The problem I have is that in my environment I am the only shaving nut around. Getting shaving gifts is always dicey as the rules also state. My son is also a DE shaver, but he sticks with his Slim with no intention of venturing out. My lady has no idea about my preferences be it aggressive or mild, injectors or DE, et cetera. And she has no resources other than me and my notes. So getting the Supply is on me and therefore I am declaring myself knocked out.
A new personal record with 7 consecutive months of restraint. And last year already helped a lot. This year definitely trumps that. I have temptations yes, but I feel little desire to act on my wants, because these acquisitions would clearly be for “having” or “collecting” rather than a thoughtful addition - if such thing exists. I also have zero interest to go treewhaling
I have the utmost respect for those still in. Keep it up gents!! We can do this!
I will continue my commitment as your administrator as I do not want to burden others with that task and it’s no burden on me anyway.
Signing out,
Guido
