#51 still in. It's been a while since I checked in, work has been crazy busy and my brother-in-law came to live with us, at least temporarily. So my routine has been thrown to the wind and I've probably averaged a shave a week, or a bit more. This morning I tagged the Muhle R41 in and had a wonderful two pass shave with a new Durablade Sharp blade.

@kjbarth those straights are tempting me...but I'll ignore searching for straight razors for now

Still in. Changed the monthly razor to the Mekur 39C slant and am using the Shark blades. I was updating the Wiki and when I went to make make sure the info on the Sharks was complete I discovered another tuck of Poly Silver super iridiums. Thought those had all gone. I'll reserve them for a while. I'm thinking I will be done with the Panna cream soap by the end of the month. Anyway, here's the monthly set-up. 5 months to go!

Still in. Since January, I have focused on identifying my favorite razors and been selling my least favorite. My goal is to end the year with less than 10 razors. It’s hard for me to fathom, but two years ago I had 68 razors in my den and now I’m down 15. I really do enjoy this hobby and don’t regret any of my purchases, but I am now finding satisfaction with a much smaller collection as I’ve gotten older.

Still, I am considering adding a Karve or a Lupo to my den before declaring an official end to my RAD.

Every time I see someone talk about selling off some shaving stuff, I think I might ought to do the same. But, then, I think I really don't have all that much and...don't.

Seriously, though, I rarely use anything except one Fasan Double Slant (of two) and Grandpa's Old Type. I have two Techs (one Pre and one Post war) and a SuperSpeed that were my Dad's. Those I'd keep, of course. I have these open combs I picked up with the idea of OCtober, Open Comb tober as it were. Those could go, really. As could that ATT S2 I almost bought for several years in a row and never did, then finally did, and didn't much like.

Boy, that last one there.... Think on it forever then buy it and not like it. A story of why RAD is bad.

Well done, way to reduce the numbers.

I was in a similar boat, and have slimmed down to less than 20. I've enjoyed more regular use of what I love and not feeling the need to chase the best razors (as I have plenty of great ones now).
