#51 still in. Like AZBronco, I'm still in as long as I don't buy anything today. Thankfully since the Feather AC shavette showed up and I started using it my temptation for all things straight razor disappeared.

It looks like I'm all stocked up for the mission and don't need an exception - engines ahead full...engage! Now if Scotty could fix the knocking that the warp engine is making we'd all have a smoother ride. Perhaps we need to try premium dilithium crystals instead of the regular.

I wished I'd saved some of the warped bits I pulled out of my engines back when I was racing. I could snap some pics of them now and post them. Warp Drive, indeed!

First shave today with the Esbjerg Sensitiv cream. Did a really good job, even though I think I used to much water. I'll dial it back a bit on the next shave to see how it reacts. Still very slick and cushiony, although I think it can be better. The Super Iridium blade is wonderful, just like always. Just an excellent blade. The Yaqi Mellon has taken every blade I've put in it and done a great job, no issues at all. I think this would be a great starter razor.

You understood correctly I will be given a razor. And I sure did not ask for it. IIUC it is a DE razor. I am an AC shaver ;-)

First month done, still in. I'll continue on my 3017 mission for soaps and AS. My stock of Polysilver Super Iridium blades has diminished significantly over my restraint history. I have plenty of other mixed blades so in the coming 11 months I will be changing brand of blade quite often. Considering starting a monthly razor rotation. Fly true crew members and watch the dark matter!

I think this is officially the longest any sabbatical has gone without losing anybody. At least in the early months. IIRC, in previous annual sabbaticals, we always lost someone in the first couple of weeks.

I’m still in and had a mild scare as I almost picked up a bottle of pinaud to replace the last one I used up a couple of weeks back. Then I came to my senses and put it back on the store shelf.

I’m planning on doing another den reduction on the BST at some point this month. I have too many razors to really focus on those I love.

Checking in after the first successful month, I've managed to use up a few items as well. As every year, I keep a running total for replenishment time, I'm after a gradual but systematic reduction in my stash and will limit myself to purchasing a maximum of half of what I use up. For example, I went through three soaps last year so I only purchased one during my window.
At any rate, still in with the following items completed:

Frag: 1 (Gravity, I believe it's a Dana product. Quite forgettable, and really I'll stop using them altogether once done)
Soap: 1 (Fedrihan Robusto)
Splash: 1 (Dr Jon's Anne Bonny. This is a really nice Bay Rum scent and I've still got at least a month left on the matching soap)

SOTD:

A lovely shave with a lovely soap. 2 years old but still going strong. The recently released Nordost after shave surely would have tempted me to drop out, but there's no way to bring it over the pond due to regulations. So I'm safe. (Deep sigh though. This scent rocks).

Still in. Another wonderful shave, continuing on with the Yaqi Mellon and Super Iridium (2) blade. The blade always performs excellently. I dialed back the water on the Esbjerg Sensitiv today and the lather was much better, not near as runny, so almost have it where I want it. The Yaqi synthetic brush does a great job of building lather. Finished with some Alba Botanica Aloe Vera and done.
