Sorry, folks, I'm out! I did succeed in 2020 and made it almost eight months in 2021. There was a deal I could not refuse on a Semogue SOC finest badger brush, brand new, for about 1/3 of retail price! I kind of treewhaled at that point with some Tabac tallow refills, Cella Bio and some aftershave! I will try to join in some of the monthly GRUMEs later this year, and I'll continue to cheer you all on from the sidelines.

That is not a shave brush. My wife bought me one of those last year as a joke. It may have bristles and a handle and say shaving brush on the package, but it is fundamentally unsuitable for the application of shaving lather. You can use it to clean greasy auto parts or something.

Kind of borderline, but technically, you should get a break! No one should go out over that brush! It would be a crying shame.

I agree. A stinky brush from a Dollar Store really ought to be an automatic exemption. And, didn't someone say to use this one in the parts washer?
