Did an official blade inventory today.

The following:

700 DORCO 301s
195 DERBYS
870 ASTRA PLATINUM
335 WILKINSON (GERMANY)
132 WILKINSON (INDIA)

2,232 Total

If I use two blades a week I should be set for over twenty-one years.

I believe my AD for blades is complete.

I also believe I need therapy!

In ONE month I have bought.

150 Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless
200 Lord Super Stainless
100 Gillette Super Thin
40 WM Personna
6 Vintage Shick Krona DE blades
2 Vintage Gillette Thins (afraid to ever use these)

398 blades total and I average a blade per week Thats over seven and a half years worth.
I do believe I have caught whatever mental illness you have.

Have them put away in cigar boxes on closet shelves in my bedroom.

Dry and away from sunlight.

Wouldn't think of storing them in the bathroom.

I don't use on-line vendors for blades.

All kidding aside, I'm set with my variety. The mentioned blades work good to great for me. The only one I haven't tried and would if I could purchase locally are the IRP.

I get them at a local pharmacy for $1.01 for a 5-pack. I hear they are also available at Bed, Bath and Beyond, but I haven't checked. Wonderful blade -- very comfortable in all my razors.

Why on earth would anyone with that many blades only use two a week? I change mine at least every other day. If I had that many I would change at least daily and would probably still use two razors, so that would be two a day.

I get three to four shaves out of a blade so it would be a waste to throw the blade away after one shave.

Plus I want to have plenty of blades for the post nuclearwar environment.

Nothing like being a clean-shaved survivor.
