Just wanted to update in case anyone cares, I have recently added two products into my routine that I have been really pleased with. Thayers witch hazel which gets a ton of members here who use it for good reason. The other is Cella. I have to say, for 10 dollars this really is an amazing Cream/ Soap that provided a good protective moisturizing lather. Not the most lather producing cream , but it is a great lather for the price. I will keep it in the rotation from now on.

Part two: What is your favorite Thayers? I have been using the medicated one and the smell is intense but I do have sensitive skin and tend to get razor bumps. Is the rose just as good as the medicated in your experience?

So far I've tried the Thayers Lemon, Aloe Vera, plain & Superhazel. I like the Superhazel best for both the fragrance and the way it feels on my skin.

I have tried: Alcohol-Free Rose, Alcohol-Free Lavender, Alcohol-Free Original, Medicated Super Witch Hazel, and After Shave with Aloe Vera.

The After Shave with Aloe Vera just packs too much punch for my tastes and the smell isn't that great either. The Medicated Super Witch Hazel is really nice, but not an everyday affair for me. The alcohol-free TWHs are my favorites, nice and gentle. If I want the alcohol sting I'll turn to an aftershave splash. Both the rose and lavender are very nice, but my favorite is the original.

The non-alcohol Original is probably my favorite because it has a nice clean scent that I can enjoy day after day. Picking a "favorite" is difficult because I enjoy variety. At the end of the day - the non-alcohol version is tops in my book.
