2 Pac

Wow, 27 years later an arrest in his murder. My favorite rapper by a lot. Meaningful stuff. A reckless guy, though.

I do not quite understand how a guy gets to say that he was in the car from which Pac was shoot, but the inquiry kind of ended there, unless this is the Bill Cosby kind of thing where they promised him immunity and not are not carrying through with that.

very, funny! I liked Biggie, okay. themes were a tad limited. jayz is okay. I really liked early Em. the current crop does not seem to do that much for me

Supposedly he told the cops he was in the car during some kind of interview that couldn’t be used to charge him with a crime. The other 3 people that were in the car are all now dead, so he’s the only one left to charge.

2pac was back in the day you could actually understand the rappers. Understand what they are saying. With the exception of Twista and Bone Thugs N Harmony.

Now days I have no idea what most rappers are saying. But that’s just the progression of music. 90% of artists do whatever will appeal most to the mass market. 10% are actually true to who they are and won’t change themselves to sell a record. Unfortunately those 10% don’t get airplay so no one knows who they are. You gotta look at Spotify or YouTube to find them.

I hope that Pac‘s family finally gets some closure. I still have Pac on my playlist. At least once a week I hear his songs. Him and Biggie!

wow, 'pick! I am impressed. I should have said before that I like Snoop, too. And NWA. And Dre.

Hit 'Em Up is the dis tracks of all dis tracks. I can't say that I respect Pac for doing that to Biggie. But it is a terrifying piece of work.

I was born in ‘84 which means I was 12-19 years old during prime time late 90’s early 2000’s rap. More specifically…I was a Caucasian teenager in the late 90’s early 2000’s which means I was rap’s target audience weather they wanted it or not.

NWA was before my time but I found them nonetheless. For me it’s a tie between No Vaseline and Hit ‘em Up. You really have to understand the beefs and the artists to make your best judgment and I just don’t understand it fully enough. But they both deliver several one liners that make you think “gezzz how do you recover from that??”.

My favorite rappers are all from the 90’s. All that you mentioned and I’ll add Three 6 Mafia and Master P and his gang. Cash Money Records, which is where Lil Wayne got started. Naughty by Nature, DMX, The Fugees (not rap but a good album). Nas, a Tribe Called Quest, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang, Ghetto Boys. None of these artists will ever be duplicated today. Not a chance.

I couldn’t tell you who a current rapper is or a song by them.

The only Rapper I watch was Vanilla Ice, he had show where he was up in PA with Amish, doing building, and remodeling work. Rapping IMHO is not music form I grsvate too. Give my 50's, and 60's RocknRoll.
