2 Apollo Ben Hur slant head razors

Here are a couple different presentations of the same Apollo slant razor -- in good as new condition. Doubtful they were used at all. At least not until I tried the one in the leather travel case. Such a heavy weight razor -- really undoes the Gillettes of that era. Another example of "they don't make them like the used to."

They are the same razor, just a different case.

The white Bakelite cased Apollo is my newer one. So it needs to be introduced on its own, in addition to the display with its brother -- above...

Someone kept this set in such pristine condition.

You see the slanted angle of the Ben Hur.

Chrome plating over pot metal, but they can hold up like this. Around 75-years old -- or at least that's one estimate, just before the outbreak of WWII.

Alex, Apollo razors are amazing razors.Their build quality, heft and shave aspect is excellent. At least my regular non slanted one is.
