Recently acquired in a trade.Sure is pretty. Comes in at 71 grams. This will be Sundays razor. It has a nice feel in my hand due to the weight. I really like the door treatment that British Gillette used.

Thanks for the grins! :thumbup1: Well now I understand why folks seek out Brit. Gillettes. First thing I noticed was when I put the blade(Voskhod[Russian for Sunrise]) I noticed the tight fit of the center bar. Neat. Close the doors , good mechanism smooth. I looked at the blade gap and said to myself--This ain't no Crat! prep, lather up with PannaCrema Namaste and begin. Yup more blade gap than my Aristocrats (US) and smooth. likes da fat, doesn't load up, did I say smooth?Did a 3 pass and then decided since I wasn't feeling any irritation to go atg. Nice ,that decision. The added weight, (72 gms. on my scale) and it smoothness gave no problems. Result a DFS. So will I use it everyday,? No. Why because I really enjoy my OC's and they give me the shave I like consistently. Will my face feel like it does when I use a Joris after 12 hors, no. But that's comparing Pineapples and Tires. For the beautiful shaving tool it is, it gives a marvelous shave.:001_cool::thumbup1:

p.s. It sure lit up the lather with its shine! :001_cool:
