has anybody seen this razor? It looks like a gold Aristocrat jr. with solid base plate. The case looks like the No52 case, little different to the HD case

not the gold alluminum Rocket HD. The razor in the Ad has the solid base plate like the Aristocrat jr.
You're right, I missed that.....the case threw me off. They are the same case, though. You've found evidence of another rare bird Achim.

I've not seen that one yet but it's a beauty! Only one I've seen is the one on the right which is a British Rocket but without the solid base. Good luck on your quest Achim!

I guess that answers if this is an English or American razor, too.
The use of "coloured", "Gillette offer", and "Gillette Present" instead of color, offers, and presents were what gave it away that the ad was written in a foreign country where English is not the first language.
