$150 Budget suggestions

Want a classic high quality brush for $150.

-Dont mind a bit smaller knot size

-Soap only user (load from puck)

-Face latherer exclusively

-Medium backbone at most

-Love two band stuff

-Open to different handle shapes

Let's hear some good ones please

Shavemac in the 22-24mm range perhaps a Two Band Silvertip.

I don't need a $150 brush but love to ponder about such things.

Like @Multum in parvo is demonstrating fooling around with shavemac's configurator is very dangerous indeed, gorgeous brush!

Picked up a little Tulip 1 recently from TSS's liquidation of all things Simpson. Has surprising good backbone because it's STUFFED with hair and soft tips. Kind of thinking a Tulip 3 would be pretty nice.

Maybe I could get a bespoke Simpson G2 in a Super or SiLVERTiP bulb with a Sunspot Orange handle. nah...

There is a Simpson M7 Best on the BST from a great seller for $80 which is super cheap. Think “Duke 3 on a stick”. Duke 3 is obviously a classic as well.

A 4125 in a 2 band fan is hard to beat though. I am likely pulling the trigger on the big 4125/4 two band fan this week.

Thanks for all the replies I saw the M7 and Rudy Vey stuff but I have a bunch of custom brushes. In fact I don't have any branded brushes except a Wee Scot.

All Doug Korn customs

The two band Silvertip offerings from Simpsons are pretty small. 20mm knots at the biggest at 88mm tall. Idk...
