The Asco Platinum performed well, I shaved 6 times but only counted the blade for 5 shaves because I had to do a last pass with a standby razor to get a shave I was comfortable wearing to work (note: I adjusted a previous blade down by 1 shave for a similar reason). It was a good shaver for five full shaves and if I were to use it regularly, I would likely just toss it after 5 shaves.
