Until now, I've exclusively used vintage Gillettes. Through Aristocrats, Fatboys, Slims, 40's & 50's SS. I always seem to end back with my well used, 46 SS. Very good shave, no complaints in that area, however I keep looking at how nice the Merkur Barberpole razors look aesthetically. IF I were to make the move from my SS, which Merkur would you recommend? Especially interested in hearing your experiences with these two specific Merkurs juxtaposed to the vinage Gillettes.
