12 Shaves!

I'm retiring the blade, but feel bad doing so. It has given me 12 outstanding shaves. All have been very smooth, close, comfortable, and long lasting. I last shaved about 30 hours ago and still am not sporting 5 O'Clock Shadow.

Very cool. Some of my old single edge blades get rinsed and then put in a paint scraper when needed. They are still plenty strong and sharp for that.

Great to hear...but why did you retire it?? The 11th shave was great, the 12th terrible?
Any chance the razor was the reason for the great shaves?
Never understood the razor blade marathon concept.
The Gem SS PTFE is also my SE blade of choice...it may give me 2 great shaves
or maybe 6. Neither landmark rates a second thought.

I, as well, use retired PTFE blades in my paint/window scrapers. You have to love the SE side of life!
