Merry Christmas everyone!
It has been now 1 year since I began shaving with a DE, and I gotta say I love it. I don't think a day has gone by without shaving. a year ago I recieved a Merkur 38c for Christmas. Since then I have also acquired a Gillette Tech (1940s).
I first started out with an omega boar brush and some real shaving co. cream. I now have a simpsons best badger, and I have used Body shop Macca root Cream, proraso green, williams, wilkinson sword blue (yuck!) I have also acqured dads old Old Spice shaving mug
the blades I have tried out in order from favourite to least favourite:

I am really happy for making this switch from shaving with cartridge and canned goo. I would like to thank the entire badger and blade community, and a special thanks to mantic59 for all your youtube videos. You really taught me everything about shaving that my dad did not teach me!!
