It sort of looked similar but if you can picture a giant paper clip connected to a round wire base.... That's what it looked like. Honestly... I saw it at a Dollar Tree and bought it to experiment (not thinking I could do anything with it) and that's what I can up with using pliers. It's functional but you have to be careful and put the brushes in first & then the razors because it will topple over.
Came out fantastic..Although I wouldn't buy it because I'd screw it all up.
So I stopped by the Dollar Tree today, and picked up the black version of the note stand. I bent it by hand at first, but I had to eventually use pliers. My stand ended up looking more modern and less contemporary, but it serves the purpose. It also fits better with the motif of my shave den. I was also able to "touch up" the nicks caused by the pliers with a Sharpie. Thanks for the idea, Chesterfield!
My Dollar Tree didn't have it.
