I got nothing against them, but I decided against getting any permanent ones because even back in my crazy youth days, I realized my opinions would change and the tattoo I might love at that point would make me feel stupid 60 years later.
I have gotten the occasional henna tattoo on my arm...
I appreciate creams because they lather a bit quicker (especially directly on the face when I'm rushed), but for a real enjoyable shave I reach for a soap.
Well, except for my DR Harris cream. That stuff is on par with all my soaps.

I think I will be shaving well for a while. The Minuteman is more for sitting around and looking purty than shaving with, I have some GEMs that I got tossed in eBoy lots for that noble morning ritual. Thanks to Taz...
I've had shaves where I felt tugging or even what I swore was a nick, only at the end to be surprised by zero irritation and zero blood. Can't really say there was a specific blade/razor that caused that effect. Also, it happened a lot more when I was beginning shaving than more recently.
