Tried Rossmann's Isana blade twice. Not impressed. According to my face-o-meter they appear quite smooth but too mild for my liking.The retail price in Rossmann's drugstores here in Germany is approx. 1.50 Euro /10 blades. I'd always grap a tuck of Wilkinson Sword Germany instead (2.40 Euro /10...

I don't expect Mühle to introduce a V5 since the recent version is 100% flawless (finally). It might just take some time to ship/restock european goods in these days (vice versa the same is the case with US products being out of stock in Europe)...

It felt quite pleasant right from the start, well, maybe it took roundabout 10 more shaves... I have an SOC boar as well, which is not fully broken in as yet (30+ shaves), however, I think that the Mistura is the superior brush (comparing apples and oranges, to some extent, I know).

I really enjoy the Mistura. Nice backbone without being to stiff, there is absolutely no scritch here but a gentle amount of scrub. Great handle. Overall, it feels very balanced... I wonder if I am beginning to prefer the Mistura over the 2-band finest badger (because of Mistura's backbone)...
