Ok so 2 sticks will not fit in one of those containers at all. I got 1 in and packed it pretty good. Unfortunatly when i tried to twist it the screw sheared off at the bottom and is now useless. So word of warning, be careful with these containers when packing. I got 4 glue sticks for a...

Soap vs Cream. Why one over the other? Your opinions please...

Still use proraso (in the tub) sometimes but other than that I just like soaps better. I face lather and use a straight most days and tallow soap seems to work best for me.

Is a straight really any better?

I get a better shave with DE on my neck, but I get a far better shave on upper lip and chin area with my straight. As for time, I can get a pretty good straight shave in almost the same time as a DE shave. Im still working on it after a year but still getting better and better. I like the...

Ok, so I got a little ahead of myself and after polishing realized the pitting was worse than I thought. Ive completely restarted sanding and now this is where im at with the 2000 grit after starting with 800. Will polish and get started on scales when they come in.
