    Horrible Astra SS

I agree, the Russian ones are fantastic. These could be a knock off or just really old blades. Sent from my CPH1969 using Tapatalk

    Horrible Astra SS

Astra blades are recommend especially for those starting out. Imagine them starting out with this blade. They would go back to cartridges immediately. I know I would. Sent from my CPH1969 using Tapatalk

weird Astra superior stainless blades.the Czech ones!

In my opinion, these are the worst blades I've ever tried. Can't cut any hairs. Tugging badly, very harsh. Swapped it out after 3 strokes. If a newbie started out wet shaving with these blades, he'll go back to cartridges immediately. Could happen actually since Astra blades are highly...

    Horrible Astra SS

Hi Guys Recently purchased a tuck of Astra SS (Blue). The Superior Platinum is one of my favorite blades. But this stainless one feels just horrible. Lots of tugging, very rough on the skin etc. It barely cuts any hairs on my face. 3-4 strokes and I swapped it out for an Astra SP and it was...

Starting new adventure: Indian Gillette Wilkinson Swords

I'd say they are pretty similar in terms of sharpness but totally different in terms of smoothness. The German Wilkinson blades are one of the smoothest out there. Definitely smoother than the Personna Lab Blue. Sharpness is pretty similar to the Lab Blue. As for longevity, the German blades...

Is it OK to not use aftershave after a shave?

I usually just use an alum block and Thayers witch hazel. I shave in the evening so nice smelling aftershaves are not really necessary. I do use aftershaves if I have an important meeting in the morning and have a morning shave. Sent from my CPH1969 using Tapatalk

How do I NOT Get a Close Shave?

I have a Rockwell 6C. The plate 1 is soooo mild that it's impossible to get a close shave. I don't even feel the blade when I was testing out this plate. U might wanna get the 2C. Sent from my CPH1969 using Tapatalk
