I suspect you may have another in your future, it's all about the hunt! In the meantime, the pre-war tech is one of only 3 razors I have in my arsenal, so I know you are not suffering for lack of a great razor.

I couldn't agree more Jim. I am firmly in the 24/48 camp. Anything larger than 26 and I don't enjoy at all, but I could live with a 26/52. This Jade Tulip knot is possibly 22.5/45, which is on the very edge of being too small. If it was a 22/44, too small, at least in my mind. Amazing what...

I learned how to drive a stick on one long ago in the 70's. I think it was a 69. They are fun, but require a lot of maintenance. If you are good with cars, no problem. The engine is in the boot (rear), which requires you to get low to the ground. The bottoms on the old ones tend to rust...
