    Colonial General V1

+1 I had the SS and the Brass V1 and sold both once I got my hands on the aluminum version. With a Schick Proline blade, the aluminum General is very tough to beat.

AP Shave Co 2BED synthetic fan

Hey all. Please excuse me if this question has already been addressed on the forum but I’d be curious to hear if anyone’s tried this new knot from AP Shave Co. It’s a natural looking synthetic fan. I’ve definitely found that I prefer dense badger knots (esp fans) but am always on the look out...

    FS Paladin Chief, VP LeonHardy

Hey all, I’ve got a 26mm Paladin Chief that’s just collecting dust in my den. Unfortunately I do not have the card nor the knot code, so I’m pricing it to move. I’m not an expert at judging knots, but I find this one soft and with good backbone. The handle’s just a tad small for my hands so I...

Hey all. Reviving the thread... Any idea how much either the kamisori or folding type Proline razors sold for at retail when they were in production?

    Colonial General

@L.A. Jones I’ve gotta agree with you. Having tried all three versions myself, I ended up settling on aluminum. With a Schick Proline blade, it’s a great shave.

Colonial General's Seem to go Fast

@kingfisher I’ve also tried both the brass and aluminum, and also prefer the aluminum. With a Proline blade, it’s a tough one to beat.
