We are experiencing random server blips at random times in the middle of the night. I'm still investigating trying to figure out what's going on there. The outages normally only last a minute or two, according to monitoring.
There is a bug in our database server software that prevents us from utilizing the Wiki software at this time. The bug is to be resolved in the next release, which *SHOULD* be any day now. I check the updates page multiple times per day. As soon as it's fixable, I'll fix it :)
Actually, when you contribute to a thread, it's only considered "watched" if your user preferences are set up that way.

Bottom line - If you're receiving email notifications for a thread, it's because you're subscribed to receive email notifications about that thread. Visit the thread in question, go to the top, click the "Unwatch" button.
The likes are called reactions in the system. I'm telling you exactly what to click in order to disable the specific notifications that you want to disable. Disabling reaction notifications will not disable any other type of notification.
