    Learn about using a "J Stroke" on your neck. Its not mentioned much, but it helped me a lot when I started. Also try mapping your beard and try to avoid shaving against your beard grain as much as possible. You might also think about using a slant razor.

    Also, map your beard. Its something few mention but it is important to shaving "properly". Faces and beards are all different. Knowing this will lead to proper technique. Mind the blade angle, especially with Feathers.
