stirling makes a pumice-enhanced soap that works a treat. it's replaced lava for me - lava left a slimey feel afterwards that always required extra rinsing.

Yes, they are reformulated scribal inks. I've used some Scribal inks. There are a couple in the travelling box, too.

Get some more colors. You won't regret it. If you're worried about not liking the color, go for samples. They're like rabbits! :)

I write technical procedures and drawings and use the different inks to show different types of equipment or process flows. Or highlight certain points or sections.
The color itself isn't that important, they cycle based on mood and whim. But I just ave a hard time putting an ink in a pen...
Tough week this week. Ran three pens dry. Must not forget little nalgene resupply bottle... :(
