I bought a Grelot (bone handle) around June I think. I had to send it back as the blade was bouncing back half way through when closing it. The sharp edge was not exposed but it was very annoying, and quite dangerous...
I received another one, I’m sure it’s not the same as the blade...
It’s been less than a year I started using vintage Gillette razors. The more I tried them, the louder my curiosity screamed in my ear.
So, I would like to ask:
1. What’s your criteria when choosing a vintage Gillette razor?
2. What are your most cherished vintage Gillette Razors? /...
I recently purchased this razor and I’m having some trouble identifying the model/year.
The information I got so far is quite confusing...
Thanks for your help!

After quite a long and painful learning curve with a Feather AC shavette, I finally pushed the button and acquired a straight razor.
I hesitated for months, as the honing and stropping process has been constantly putting me off. Can't even remember how many times I had a SR in my shopping...
Found this on the bay for 50€, finally received it this morning after a loooong wait.
Very surprised by the great condition, I was not expecting that. [emoji4]
Any recommendations on the cleaning, maybe lubricating the mechanics?
I’ve a bottle of Barbicide, which is still very unclear for me if...
Hope you’re all very well.
I‘ve read many posts about the WR2 head and the insignificant difference between the OC and the SB.
They appear to be VERY different for me. The more I use the SB, the more I find the OC to be a lot more efficient and easier to shave with.
I had some shocking experiences in the past ordering aftershaves blindly.
Ended up with bottles smelling like a drunk granny’s denture box.
The more I read about DR Harris Sandalwood the more it intrigues me.
Would love to hear your thoughts if you are or have been using this aftershave...
All items are in EXCELLENT CONDITION! (yeah, I'm one of the OCB guys in here :001_smile)

No matter what I do, I can’t manage to get a comfortable shave after one or two days of growth. Everything goes wrong... razor burns, microscopic nicks, redness, bla bla, the full menu...
On the contrary, the 3rd day is the total opposite; I always get an...

Pristine condition, used twice, disassembled and throughly cleaned after each use (yes, part of my OCD :001_smile)

I noticed that it became quite an easy process to subscribe for a Wolfman razor, the orders seem to be confirmed a couple of months later.
Knowing myself how difficult it used to be to buy a Wolfman and taking into account the huge demand out there, I’m wondering if it’s still only James who is...
I’m in a bit of a dilemma here, hopefully your advice will bring some light. [emoji4]
It’s been a while I’m following different topics about adjustable razors. Especially the Rex Ambassador... which I find intriguing, beautiful and dangerously tempting..
I’ve always loved the...
