    Razor rotation. Which razors have you used the last 5 shaves?

    Merkur 34D HD Post War Ball End Tech I tend to load a new blade in one of them and use it for a week (about five shaves). I like an every other week rotation between theses two razors.

    I have used both and have not noticed a difference. I never looked at the ingredients. For me it performs as well as soaps that cost many times more.

    Flu Shot

    I got my flu shot and shingles shot on the same day. I would not recommend it. I was a complete mess for a few days.

    Poor sense of smell!

    Unfortunately my sense of smell continues to deteriorate with age. My choice of lathers is based almost completely on performance. It hasn't effected my sense of taste though, and definitely no my appetite.

    How Often Do You Shave?

    I shave in 48 or 36 hour intervals. Usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday AM and Saturday PM. I would shave more frequently but my beard just doesn't grow that fast.

    Best starter blade for VB Chieftain JR and basic Feather razors

    Another new old guy here. I've been doing this about four months. You have a great selection to choose from. I started with Derby Extra and Shark Super Stainless because they are reputed to be the least sharp and the most forgiving. it worked for me but blades are very subjective.
