I have Thomas Tew soap and aftershave from when Blackship was Beaver Woodwright, I always load from
the container and face lather with all of my soaps with no issues. Thomas Tew is a decent soap with a nice
orange scent. The aftershave has too much alcohol for me. Face lathering is just easier...
I've been interested in their products, but too pricey for me right now. It's supposed to be good stuff
but as with every thing else I look at the value of the product and the price of Sebum products is too stiff for me.
I don't know if they are imitations of other brands, my understanding is that RR soaps are made
by various other "manufacturers" or artisans, mostly Italian as the several that I have say that they
were made in Italy. I have Mudder Focker and it's a pretty unique scented soap and performs well...
I have quite a few soaps that are 4 years old and I use them, put the top on and continue my rotation. I live in a humid area yet I have not had any issues with my soaps. I lather all directly from the container and if they are particularly wet I let them air dry for a few hours. I suppose that...
