    Cowboy boots?

Just dropped off my Luchesse Kangaroos at the store to be sent back for a full restore. Should come back with a new sole, and new lining. Mine are some of the last ones made when Luchesse was just Lechesse. There used to be a time when there was no such thing as classic...

    Davidoff 3x3 & 4x4 Bundle Cigars :-D

I have smoked one of the 3x3 Robustos. I thought it was a good quality smoke, that gives an experience greater than the price point it sits at. Perfect draw, nice even burn, smoked it to within an inch of the end, and then ordered a full 3x3 bundle of the churchill model.

Replacement for Low End Badger - Best under $100, $150

Hard not to suggest one of these: http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/7233684/7455448.htm Classic Shaving has great customer service, and that brush comes in at under $150. There is a reason the M&F thread goes on indefinitely. The guy that makes these also owns Rooney, so, great...

    Badger is better than boar

Sorry for the delayed response, have not been on in a while. Yes, I am face lathering. I can get four passes with my omega professional, the one with the really big loft. I think that is why I believe the number of passes a boar can give when face lathering is much more related to loft than...

    Why Badger....

Not me. I use the occasional boar, but badger does a better all around job for me. I have over a dozen badger brushes, and about four boars.

    Badger is better than boar

I know I said I was not going to post in this thread any more, but I thought I should let every one know that I switched soaps to L'Occitane Cade and got three passes out of the Semogue 620. The third pass was usable, but still a touch thin. But I did get three. Maybe I should have had a...

When did your SBAD stop - if ever - ?

Ummmm, no. You wanna get really hooked, start restoring a few. That is a whole new acquisition disorder to contend with. The good news is it will go into remission from time to time. Mine is really flaring up now though. If you have a wife/girlfriend, you can buy stuff "for her".

I can't seem to stop myself!!

I hope I didn't snatch them away from you...Although I am sure that happens alot around here. Do you ever put stuff in your watch list just to see what it ends up going for?

I can't seem to stop myself!!

They are currently boar. I have never had a vintage boar come in that I would use. Lot's are just nasty, but I have gotten a few that appeared to be unused. Either way, the age of the bristles make them useless. They bristles seem to break. Probably from years of no use, and just being dry...
