    Florida Water/Agua Floral

I only use it in VooDoo rituals here in the shave den. Have some dolls made of some of the YouTube shavers and yes they often get a little nick in the videos they make in the following days after I have had Den-Ritual.

Which cartridge razor did you use today and how many shaves?

Pro Shield retired at 67 shaves, 10 more since my last "record" with this. Last 3 shaves have been lousy. Not sure if it helps resting some days but it is tugging a lot now and lots of red bumps luckliy no ingrowns. The change was quite sudden so asked the GF if shed had used it which she had...

Which cartridge razor did you use today and how many shaves?

Can you get 50 out of that one? Gillette ProsShield (61!) Old record of 57 shaves is now broken ;)

How many own more than one electric shaver?

I have 3. 1 Corded Philips not sure about model number and a more modern 7530series. And the OneBlade that I have not tried yet. I know there are fans here so the bar is high on that one ;) .

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Finished the 1805 Truefitt & Hill some days ago. Going to live on those 2 sticks of Arko and a piece of Klar Kabinett this year ;).

Which cartridge razor did you use today and how many shaves?

Hey! No have been lucky with that too. Less bumps too as can happen sometimes for me on the lower neck area. It behaves best with good lather now as most of the "gel" is gone. Also made up a little too thin lather the other day and that was not optimal.

    My Guess... 3017

TOBS 1805 Soap was done today. 1805 did last 88 days so not too bad but far from amazing. I got 137 days out of Cade for comparison, personal comparison in the same bowl and same two brushes. YMMW. 1805 delivered good performance I think and I really like the scent so got the Spray and the...

Recommend an electric razor for a long-time cartridge user to try?

Yes this break in period is also relevant with rotary-shavers. I think it would be ok to maybe use a tiny touch up with a razor if you have this one hair that is longer and looks odd. And just take that one.

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Thanks man! Very generous of you offering up those items. But I will wait and see until next winter. Also this is a trial in itself to make the soap I have last. So do not wait for me to "panic" so feel free to pass it to others if in need. Again thank you. My thoughts: If Arko lasts 3 months I...

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Thanks for answers Atlantic59 & GaryTha! I have a huge stockpile of blades so if it gets too tight and I am fortunate that someone wants or need something I have I might be in luck.

2020 Shave Purchase Sabbatical - Those Daring Men with their Jaunty Razors & Jalopies

Hey how was the rule on if you run out of soap or cream again? I got a nice hole/ring in my Truefitt & Hill Soap that came way faster than expected. I have a couple of sticks of Arko and piece of Klar Kabinett but I think it might be tight around november/december 2020😬. I can always use the...

2020 New models of electric shavers

Not planning to upgrade from the S7000 series yet. But I wonder what is the new Philips Norelco model? Thanks.

    Silver Star or Lord Platinum

I really like the Shark Super Stainless. No they are not the sharpest blade out there. But they smooth out after a couple of shaves and stay at that level for many many shaves. Only change them out when the razor and blade looks a little sad which is normally after around 2 weeks. Very seldom...

Time to face reality. I'm not a soap guy.

I use one soap at a time so that stays pretty soft much of the time. Even the hard british soap almost turn into croap at some stage for me. So mostly a soap guy here but have bought some of that macaroot a couple of times and have enjoyed that when I have had it. Eyening the Proraso Single...

    Do you like throwaway razors?

When using BIC 4 Flex I usually snap of the "cartridge" or blade end and throw the plastic handle in the plastic recycle bin. The part with blades go into the normal trash. YCMV (Your City May Vary) if you have recycling setup at home.

    Worst Blade

Bic for me as well. They are extremely sharp and "the forum" is telling me to focus on technique but every time I use them they give me these tiny tiny weepers. So I have almost given up on them. I have 5-6 other brands in rotation that do not produce nano-scale weepers including feather that...
