    Muhle r41

Be aware that there are 2 very different R41 razors, the 2011 and 2013 models. The 2011 model has significantly more blade exposure. Congrats on the razor! Definitely in my top 5, maybe even #1. Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk

What makes a good shaving bowl

The Timeless Razor Blue Shaving Bowl is superb. Bowls with internal ridges really make a difference to me. I ordered the one from Pereira also, based on a recent Sharpologist post.

Timeless Razor Blue Shaving Bowl is the best $12 you'll spend on gear

I've been wet shaving for years and years and have mostly been a face latherer. Lately I've been bowl lathering though, and I've been testing out various lather bowls. Good Lord, the Timeless Razor Blue Shaving Bowl is such an amazing piece of kit, and only $12. It gives me epic lathers in...

Fine American Blend sample smells like gasoline to a newbie

Wonder if I could have a bad batch? Seems very unlikely.

Fine American Blend sample smells like gasoline to a newbie

I'm an AS newbie. I only started wearing it very recently and have only tried Clubman Bay Rum and Nivea's balm. I've been wetshaving for years though. Got a sample of Fine American Blend today. Smelled terrific from the bottle. Loved the menthol warmth on my face. However, just a minute...

    ATT H2 blade feel?

I'm the same way. No problems with the 2011 R41, only great shaves. Significantly better shaves than with other razors, for me. Any suggestion for other razors I should try? I have a FaTip Piccolo and a 2013 R41 on order.

    ATT H2 blade feel?

What's the blade feel like on the ATT H2? Thoughts on how it compares to a 2011 R41?

Soap artisans in the Boston or Philadelphia areas?

I associate Barrister and Mann with Boston, though I think it's actually made in NY now. Are there other soap artisans in the Boston or Philadelphia areas? I'm shopping for Christmas gifts for people from those areas. Thought getting something made locally would be nice.

What Gillette razors were in production in 1971?

RazorEmporium's Gillette date code site says that these razors were in production in 1971: TTO, Tech, Knack, and Trac II. I'd like more information about which TTO models were made then. I know there was a Flair Tip Super Speed, but I'm not sure if it came in any variations in 1971. I think...

Shaving bowl with handle on bottom?

I probably will. Just looking for options.

Shaving bowl with handle on bottom?

People online say it stands up just fine. I would probably store it upside down though.

Shaving bowl with handle on bottom?

Perfect. Almost certainly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Shaving bowl with handle on bottom?

I'm looking for a shaving bowl with a handle on the bottom, like this: Saponificio Varesino Wooden Shaving Grail Bowl Any recommendations?

iKon Tech: where to buy in the US?

Maggard's, Shave Nation, Razor Emporium, QED, Italian Barber, West Coast Shaving, Classic Shaving, Amazon. NB: not all of those shops carry iKon; I don't recall at the moment those that do.

    Premium CNC razor WITH overhang?

Just enough to easily remove the blade. Also, my guess is razors with overhang just have smaller heads, which is what I'm really after. I don't see a point in having a head much wider than the blade.

iKon Tech: where to buy in the US?

I think I'd like the small head of the iKon Tech. Out of stock everywhere I've checked in the US. Anyone know of a shop which has it in stock?

    Premium CNC razor WITH overhang?

Upon closer inspection, it appears that non-Windsor razors from Above the Tie have traditional heads with blade overhang. Just what I'm looking for. Anyone looking to purchase should confirm with ATT though.

    Premium CNC razor WITH overhang?

    Good find! Thanks.

    Premium CNC razor WITH overhang?

I love all the high end stainless steel CNC milled razors I see out there, but I prefer a head with blade overhang. It seems this makes the head smaller, and therefore more maneuverable. Manufacturers I know of: Above the Tie, Timeless, Blackland, RazoRock. Can't find anything with blade...
