    Bulletproof coffee anyone?

Yes. The usual recipe is butter, MCT oil, a bit of cocoa, a bit of monkfruit sweetener, and sometimes a dash of cinnamon and turmeric. Oh, and coffee from a Moka Pot.

When choosing an outfit, where do you start?

It depends. If wearing a suit, it's suit->shirt->tie. For casual, it's whichever shirt is "next" in line, and then the appropriate pants. In certain circumstances, I know I need to wear a certain pair of pants and then pick the shirt to go with the pants.

    Anchovies???

I heard of bagna cauda years ago on the Sci-fi show Babylon 5. Curiously enough, the only Youtube clip with all the talk of it is ... dubbed in Italian.

    Anchovies???

Back in the day, I made a killer pasta sauce that included green olives stuffed with anchovy paste. I used to be able to get a tin at the local supermarket ... but no more. Alas.

How often do you clean your pen?

I haven't the foggiest idea what you are talking about. I jog with wild lions all the time.

How often do you clean your pen?

I'm not enough of a "Pelikan expert" to say if this is a good idea or not. (Paging Dr. @nemo ...) I just couldn't remember "piston" so picked the brand most likely to be associated with "piston filling mechanism" in most minds.

    Canadian Roll Call

I never heard that "spud/herring" thing as any sort of stereotype, insulting or otherwise. Potatoes and PEI are well connected in the Canadian psyche, but IMHO not insulting. And the "stereotypical" PEI seafood is lobster.

How often do you clean your pen?

As quickly as a car uses gas. ("But ... you don't know how much I drive it, or what the engine size is!" ... Exactly.) The bulb syringe method is generally best for all except the "closed filling system" pens like a Pelikan. Normally plain water is enough, but a particularly dirty pen may...

    First fountain pen

Depending on the pen/ink combo, you will find that either "nib up" vertical, or horizontal, is the best storage method. My experience with the 78g (basically the same nib/feed as the Metro but a plastic body), it is likely that either way will work well enough.
