I was down with noxzema for awhile, but really hated the ammonia smell it gave to my lather then i first applied it. I have since moved on to cornhuskers skin food and am getting similar results with no smell. I would be interested to hear if anyone else notices this same thing.
uuummm, TRUE (only because I am not sure what it means )
TPBM is really fighting the urge to toss their boss out of the window and wish 'em happy travels!
i have been using CHL for the last week or so, and I have to say, out of proraso pre(green and white), razorock pre barba, my homemade and noxema, CHL is ranking the highest. It gets nice and slick when applied after a splash of water, and the post shave feel has been great. YMMV of course.
+1000 i just got one as a gift about a month ago, and have cooked everything on it. cinch to use and great control. I don't know that I would try anything else
thanks for the heads up guys, looks like its down the rabbit hole for me :P i usually get about 7 shave or so out of a SE gem blade, how many do people really get from injectors? Do they have the same issue of being sssooo sharp right out of the box that you need to cork them so don't make a...

+1 you will still hear the blade sing and in a few shaves you will get the hang of it. The issue I have it still trying to deal with the first 1-3 shaves on a new blade. They are almost too sharp
I have a pretty even split between soaps and creams, which all perform well in my extremely hard water. I just end up using about double the amount of product and putting in a bit more elbow grease.
I have been using it this week as well and am still debating about the results. How do you think it stacks up agains noxzema? I love the way noxzema performs on my face, but dread the smell when I start to lather
seeing as I am still learning, and the first couple shaves on a new single edge blade can bit a little rough, I tend to wash and moisturize my face at night. Seems to help my face get ready for the next day. I don't use anything special to moisturize, I just use my proraso white balm since i...
