What's new

Three piece double edge

Pros: Cheap, good quality for the price
Cons: Careful loading the blade
I have nothing to judged it against since it's my 1st DE razor.

$12 delivered from Amazon and you get 2-5pks of Derby blades. Is there a better deal in shaving than that?

I have a medium-heavy beard with slightly sensitive skin.

Loading the blade straight can be a pain. You need to play around and use your eyes well to make sure it's on straight. There's just too much give on the plate that holds the blade. It's not the worst thing.

The handle is heavy duty. That alone is worth the $12.

Took about 3 shaves to get used to it and now I'm shaving like a pro. It's moderately aggressive but you need to be careful if you've never shaved w/a DE before (like me). First time out it looked like I was in a car accident after I was done.

It's a great starter DE razor or one you want to travel with.

Pros: Heavy, well lathed handle. Extremely inexpensive.
Cons: Care must be taken in loading razor, may be too heavy for newbies.
No this razor isn't the quality of other high price models. Loading the razor isn't as smooth as silk, but for the money I am completely blown away.
