I didn't pay for this as it was part of a giveaway, and the puck was slightly used. When I first opened it the scent hit me hard and I was afraid of what was to come. However, as I lathered (and a thick, foamy lather came up very quickly) the scent took on new notes. There was a chocolate and smoke scent which I really enjoyed. The lather went on thick, with a very slick feel and razor just flew over this. Afterwards there was no skin tightening as with some other soaps. This is a real quality product and I highly recommend it. I notice from the web site that it is not currently available, but when it is it sells for about $14. That is a bargain price for this quality product.
