Tauer L'Air du Desert Marocain

L'Air du Desert Marocain

Top notes of coriander and bitter orange
Middle notes of jasmine and citrose
Base notes of cedar and vetiver

This pricey EdT is powerful out of the gates. It's spicy with a campfire cedar scent. There is a freshness from the jasmine and vetiver and a slight candy orange smell mixes in (though you have to be close to notice it). This is one for any time of the year. During the winter you could use it instead of an incense fragrance and in the summer it would be great for hot days. The sillage on me is great and someone from far away would probably smell basically exotic spices on a sun beated cedar floor with a campfire nearby. Basically take Eau des Baux and mix it with Bois du Portugal and you get this. What makes it seem more exotic is the floral mixing with the gourmand spices and strong cedar. The citrus (a little like Creed Citrus Bigarrade and AdP Colonia) does continue for some time and the drydown is very sauna like or sunbaked deck woody scent. I think this is more an entertainment scent where you would just enjoy and bask in the scent or bring it in periods throughout the year to add variety to your extensive EdT lineup like on a casual Friday at work. Very fun. :001_cool:
