A great pre-shave. Pros: The scent is a smokey vanilla with citrus hints. Unique and a great way to start the day. It is a heavy oil, but spreads easily with a little warm water. I've tried pre-shave oils in the past, but having used Smolder for two weeks I have seen smoother shaves with less irritation.
Cons: Since its an oil, I have to wash my hands before continuing my shave. The bottle is durable, but its still a glass bottle (both a plus and a minus). At $12 an oz, its more expensive than other pre-shave oils. In all fairness, its lasting longer than I expected (two weeks and there's still most of the bottle left).
Summary: I've used other pre-shave oils and gels in the past. So far, this is the only one that I will continue using. The scent is amazing and I can actually feel a difference.
