Price: I bought it in Japan for roughly $12 USD
Quality: Wow, this stuff works like no other splash I've tried.
Fights razor burn: Yes, quite effectively
Cooling sensation: A little, but it's no Aqua Velva.
Scent: Has a citrus note, less powerful than Bravas.
Efficacy: Great.
Moisturizing: Wow an alcohol based lotion that provides moisture. Read ingredients list below
No alcohol burn: Very little burn.
I love the Auslese line, I prefer the Trocken more though, review coming next.
Here's the ingredients taken from JimR's blog Eastern Smooth http://japanshave.blogspot.com/
Dikalium Glycyrrhizin (Anti-inflammatory), d-alpha tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), Aloe Extract, Glycerin Concentrate, Ethanol, Water, Polyoxyethylene, Polyoxypropylene decyl tetradecyl ethyl (Those three were all run together into one wore in Japanese...WHAT??? When I searched I found stuff about Contact lens solution...), 2-Ethyl Hexyl Para Methoxy Cinnamate (sunscreen?), Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Trisodium Edetate, Propylene Glycol, Fragrance, I-menthol, Yellow 203 and Blue #1.
That vitamin E, Aloe, and Glycerin work wonders. I actually use this in winter up here in the Great White North, in -30 to -40 degree weather. Also a touch of sunscreen for the summer months too.
A touch on wet hands and my face is smooth and moisturized for the whole day.
