Price: This comes in at $4.67/oz which makes it a penny more per ounce than MWF. For comparison it is $3.43 for a Speick stick, and it is $2.40 for Mama Bear's Rose Ice so it falls in the upper price range based on the soaps that I've purchased so far.
Quality: The box it comes in, the round puck that is molded into the shape of a rose look fancy but it is just a light cardboard box. I'd feel a lot more luxurious with something more substantial to hold the fragrant rose.
Scent: It is definitely what I would call subtle. I've taken the cover off of other Rose soaps and the bathroom smells like a garden. This one you had to stick your nose in there but what was there was amazing.
Lather: This lathered up easily with my setup. Kent BK4 face lathered.
Efficacy: This was an awesome experience shaving with this soap. My Feather AS with an Astra SP blade glided easily over my face and without the feedback of sound it wouldn't have seemed like anything was happening.
Moisturizing: I love taking what is left in the brush and spreading it over my face while cleaning up. My face felt soft, smooth, and moisturized when I was done with this morning's shave.
Overall, I really like the soap. I think it should come in a container that is a little nicer and maybe a teensy bit more of the scent would be nice.

Very nice in use - I put it in a wood bowl. SCS makes very nice products
