QED Special 218

I just got some of this, and it quickly became my favorite QED soap.

The scent? I know this is going to sound strange, but to me, it smells like very pure, very clean water. I know that doesn't make any sense, but whatever it is, it smells amazing! One of the best-smelling soaps I've ever experienced, and performs as good or better than the best triple-milled soaps out there.

Alright, I wanted to review this, mainly because I know there is one common, recurring question that comes up with this soap, and you don't want to do a search to find the answer: what does Special 218 smell like?

First, the soap. It is QED. Do I need to say more? If you are familiar with QED soaps, you know what I am talking about, and this one is no different. If you aren't familiar with QED soaps, you owe it to yourself to try them. These are really excellent soaps. I know a lot of people will rave about how triple-milled soaps are the only way to go, but trust me - try QED. Pricier than other non-milled soaps, but worth every penny. Charles puts a huge amount of essential oils in these, and they are strongly scented.

Alright, the scent. To me, the most overwhelming scent I get is of pine, but with a sweetness to it. There may be other things in there as well, and somebody else can elaborate, but that will be what you notice first - a sweet pine fragrance.

Anyways, great soap, great scent. Try it.

This is great stuff.

If you are looking for a nice, light scent, that is somewhat familiar, but you can never place the scent.... THIS IS IT.

It is blue (blue tansies and all); It lathers like every one of Charles' soaps, GREAT.

The price is good, and well, they all last forever.

You want something off the beaten path, that smells great.....get some.
