Parker 22mm Silvertip Metal Handle

I really enjoy using this brush! I like the heavy metal feel and the softness of the silvertip bristles. The work quality is impressive and I've had practically no shedding which is amazing! It's a great brush and makes a mean lather quickly. It delivers a wetter shaving lather as the bristles really soak up the water when you soak it. Grab one!

This was my first quality brush, and I felt it deserved a review.

This is an excellent cream brush. The knot is as soft as anything else I have uses (20+ brushes now). For some this makes it an excellent choice at any price, however at $60 shipped it was an absolute steal. The 22mm knot set at ~55ish mm loft is a little on the floppy side though so its not ideal for face lathering, but its not so floppy that it is completely useless as such.

Quality was fine, though it would occupationally shed a hair or two with a lather. Maybe once every 4 or 5 shaves, but not so much that it worried me. Another not worth fact is that the label washes off in a couple uses. This was the case with both of my Pakers so I doubt its a quality issue, but again worth noting.

The brush has a second very distinguishing characteristic. It is HEAVY! The solid chromed metal handle is quite substantial. I kind of liked it, but some people will definitely find it to be to heavy. The hand feel and quality of the finish are outstanding though. I admit to dropping it once or twice and the finish did not suffer at all for it.

If you are looking for a quality entry level cream brush with some heft this is a great option.
