Omega Boar #49 Professional

Item Description

I am totally surprised to see this brush not previously reviewed here.

$10 buys you a whole lot of brush. This brush is a champ, generating loads of great lather, and feels very nice, and soft on my face.

It's every bit as good as my Penworks 22mm Finest Badger.

One of the best values for a newbie to get started with.

Available in Black, White, and Red handles, with a 27mm knot.

Pros: Good backbone with soft tips once broken in.
Cons: Plastic handle
This is a quite satisfactory shaving brush that I have been using primarily with soaps for the last year. The boar hair has a stiff backbone but the tips are quite soft once it has broken in. The only thing I don't care for is the weight of the handle in my hand. It feels too light to me, but I have that problem with most things made of plastic. All in all a decent brush well worth the price.

I have 10 other brushes some quite pricey however I use this one more than the others including silver tip badger's. A true value, got mine on Ebay for six bucks. You can't go wrong with this brush. Great with creams and hard soaps.

I think this will be my last brush, until it wears out which probably will take quite some time
